When was the last time you saw something for the first time?

In the time of truly creative minds being considered endangered species, and creative ideas already being widely utilized, there is a huge discussion about “fashion copycats” from the fast-fashion world going on all around. Who,when,in which extent and most importantly by whom has been copied? How this affects sale results of the luxury brands and how can it be stopped? Too many questions focused on the product copyrights, but I never heard somebody mentioning same questions about the luxury store windows.

How many times you’ve passed by the store thinking..where did I see this idea already?

Here are some examples of compelling similarities.

Done to be purely informative and not entering into the details who was first, there is no better way to end this observation but with quotes of those who already been copied and acted as every true creative mind should. With style.

“I don’t care that they stole my idea. I am sad that they don’t have any of their own” –  Nikola Tesla

“Don’t cry about being copied. Cry the day they don’t copy you.” – Coco Chanel

“They are genius. I’m really happy that Balmain is copied.” – Olivier Rousteing
