The fashion competition for young designers under 30, sponsored and organized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion with the important collaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan and the special partnership with Elle Italy. Arrived at the ninth edition, Next Generation is the only contest that rewards excellence of the Italian education system I poured to emerging designers under 30 who must necessarily have studied in schools of Italian fashion in spite of their origin, often international. The jury was composed of personalities from the world of fashion from Elle director Danda Santini move to top buyers like Carla Biffi -Biffi, designers represented by Carlo Capasa – CEO of Costume National. And yet by Jane Reeve – CEO National Chamber of Italian Fashion, Mario Dell’Oglio – President Camera Buyer and Chiara Ferragni. The 4 emerging designers of this year’s Next Generation are Claudio Cutugno (22 years) – IED, Luca Lin (21 years) Haute Future Fashion Academy, Deyse Cottini Maria (22 years) NABA, Alessandro Songs and Gianluca Viscomi (23 years) currently junior designers for Marni . The Next Generation fashion contest offers winners the unique opportunity of seeing paraded his collection (consisting of 12 outfits) during the next Fashion Week in Milan in February 2015. This award for emerging designers under 30 the Chamber of Fashion, in fact, provides a real educational path and not only the production of the collection.
The Sicilian Claudio Cutugno, 22, fresh diploma at IED in Milan and currently in internships in the style of Andrea Pompilio, won the ninth edition of the Next Generation contest, sponsored by the Chamber of Fashion. His collection, inspired by the work of the artist and coutryman Emilio Isgrò, was honored at the “Teatro di Piazza Vetra”, during the inaugural event of the Milan Fashion Week. The environment was fresh, dynamic and young enriched of inspirations for the emerging artist. Cutugno has awarded a special mention, plus the ability to achieve one photo shoot on an important Italian magazine.
